"Rask is a modern, simple, sociable space where you can share good food and great coffee with friends and work colleagues. We have created for you a Scandi style feel good vibe both in the café and in the food we offer." - RASK, Derby. www.raskderby.co.uk Opened in spring 2017, Rask is a scandi-inspired cafe in Sadler Bridge Studios at the bottom of the ever-fascinating Sadler Gate in Derby. Owned by the Mum and Daughter team who also own a number of other eateries in Derby, they really are Women Rocking Business! From the moment you walk in to Rask you are greeted by warm smiles, and a fresh and modern inviting interior. Clean lines and natural textures define the brand's style, along with their inclusive seating structure which invites you to pull up a chair next to a stranger. Their ethos follows the Scandinavian Hygge tread that is very popular, offering wholesome foods and an inviting environment. Rask's colour palette is a simple mix of black, white, and natural woods and greenery. Their typography is a modern curvy Sans Serif, again black on white. Earthenware, candles, and mini potted succulents accent the homely branding perfectly.
